Demolition
and Disposal
The knowledgeable experience the FDL Star Team has will guide you through all your demolition needs. From 100-year-old buildings to contaminated soils and liquids, we can bring you through the proper channels and paperwork needed to reduce customer risk.
Demolition is no longer a smash-and-grab process. Surveys will be done on the front end of the project with documentation throughout the project. FDL Star will provide the right process for any type of project.
Painting and
Coating
Our team is well-versed in the application of both above-ground and below-ground painting and coating projects of all sizes. FDL Star Construction exclusively uses Sherwin-Williams products for all of our projects.

Kimberly Kastern
President
Kim Kastern is a native tribal member of The Bad River LaPointe Band of Lake Superior Tribe of Chippewa Indians.
Kim understands the needs of a customer with over 20 years of experience in general contracting, including decades of self-employment as the owner and operator of two food industry businesses.
Fond Du Lac Star in short FDL Star, is an Indigenous contracting company founded in 2020 and originating in Superior, Wisconsin to facilitate the need for a Native American owned and operated commercial construction company. We have the unique opportunity to provide services nationwide on and off the reservations with our experienced and qualified team. Our goal is to provide a place where Native American people can find opportunities inside and outside the surrounding reservations in the construction industry. We dedicate our company as the region’s premier Native American contractor while providing the industry an understanding of the core values of the indigenous communities and the knowledge to do work within their boundaries.
FDL Star is a full-service general contracting business dedicated to every person based on the needs of their projects and is built on the foundation of trust, integrity, quality, and craftsmanship. We build personal relationships with communication and dedication to excellence.
Jesse Wick
Vice President/Project Manager
Jesse Wick started in the construction industry in 1995 as a Field Electrician. In the early 2000’s Jesse became a Foreman on residential, commercial, and large-scale industrial projects ranging in budgets up to $4M in the northeastern and central United States.
In 2014 Jesse moved into the role of project manager/estimator concentrating on the commercial and oil and gas industry, and continues to be involved in the day-to day operations of several projects.
In 2022 Jesse Wick became a partner in FDL Star Construction, overseeing the daily operations of the company. He is bringing with him over 28 years of experience in the construction industry.
